Dean

After many years working in sales, account and operations management, Dean moved into an executive management role in telecommunications infrastructure, where he spent a significant period of time leading a team in the corporate and commercial field.

He has always been extensively involved with key accounts and enjoys providing a high level of professional customer service. He understands the importance of developing and maintaining a healthy team culture, while delivering a high standard of customer service and guest care.

After living on and developing a number of rural properties he’s now enjoying looking after the property, infrastructure and maintenance at Granite Hill.

Every day is different, I’ve always been passionate about dogs and it’s a pleasure to be able to work with such a fabulous and dedicated team in a beautiful setting, while we continue to enhance it.

In his spare time he can be found on a mountain bike, or spending time with family and friends exploring beautiful Victoria and all that the great community we live in offers.

Vicki 

Headed by Vicki Whitaker, the team at Granite Hill Pet Resort runs a premium service geared towards guest welfare and comfort.

“It’s been a long awaited sea change” says Vicki “and my husband and I are committed to providing a premier facility in Melbourne”.

Coming into the role with a strong veterinary nursing background, Vicki brings a wealth of experience and behaviour recognition to the facility. Guests benefit, as Vicki brings years of in-depth canine knowledge and know-how to their day-to-day care and activities.

It has been very exciting to introduce changes to the facility – we now have heating in every area, roofed over exercise day yards, extra ensuite gardens and have introduced daily health and well being checks for all guests.

Vicki is looking forward to the continual improvement of the facility.

Nic

Nic has over 15 years experience working with and training dogs. Nic shares the responsibility of office duties and kennel attendant and demonstrates a true passion for dogs. Nic owns two dogs of her own and if she could, she would have more. Nic is an avid tennis player, loves photography, music, cooking and reading. Nic is the pioneer behind our great Facebook page and takes pride in all she does.

Amy

Has always had a passion for caring for animals of every kind. Growing up in the country, she was surrounded by dogs, cats, cows, sheep, chooks and more! She was bound to end up working in the animal industry where she prides herself in providing expert care for all guests. She has experience in dog training and behaviour.

She has a passion for rescue and also works at an animal shelter, rehoming dogs and cats. She has two rescue dogs of her own and would love to have more in the future!
